I wonder if the Verisign VIP access software is based on RSA tech. If not, the relatively sudden move to using that software internally (as opposed to the RSA secureID) that was used before makes sense. If the VIP access tech is based on the RSA tech then why switch at all?

And since Symantec owns Verisign, I wonder what this information leak means for Symantec.
